Blackstar HT-5RS Guitar Mini Stack

The HT-5RS mini stack combines the HT-5RH head with two 1×12 Blackstar voiced speaker cabinets. This award winning guitar amp and cabinet combination is fully equipped for studio use or for practice at home. It features stereo reverb, dedicated tone control on the clean channel and all the other features available across the HT-5 range.

5 watt, 1xECC83, 1x12BH7

An innovate 5 Watt, footswitchable 2 channel valve combo/head that uses 1xECC83 and 1x12BH7 valves.

ISF (Infinite Shape Feature)

Our patented ISF control can take you from the USA to the UK and anywhere between in seconds. This fully interactive control allows you to infinitely adjust the response of the tone control network between any of the traditional voicings. In this way you can design your own sound and truly find the sound in your head.

Two Footswitchable Channels

The HT-5RS has two channels available for selection, a Clean channel and an Overdrive channel. Using the Volume control while on the Clean channel you are able to deliver everything from a clean sound through to a crunch tone. Alternatively you can select the Overdrive channel and again using the Gain control, change from a clean sound on the edge of breakup right through to a distorted lead tone.

Stereo Reverb

The HT-5RS’s Reverb control sets the overall level of the reverb effect. Turning the control clockwise will increase the amount of reverb.

Unique push-pull power amp design

Emulated Output The HT-5RS power amplifier is a low powered push-pull design which produces the crunch and break-up characteristics of a traditional 100W output stage, but at a much lower volume. This is achieved by the use of a 12BH7 dual triode valve in push-pull configuration producing 5 Watts output, which is rich in valve harmonics and compression, sounding full and toneful even at the lowest volume level.

12-inch Blackbird 50 Speakers

Speaker The HT-5C and HT-5R both feature a custom designed 12inch Blackbird 50 speaker. The HT-5RS features two 1×12 cabinets that use the Blackbird 50 speakers.

Stereo MP3/Line Input

A stereo MP3 / Line Input has been added to the HT-5RS allowing the user to play a backing track or similar, through the amp while practising / recording.

External Speaker Output

External Speaker Output The external speaker output on the HT-5RS allows you to connect further extension cabinets. The output marked ‘1×16 Ohm’ is for the connection of a single 16 Ohm extension speaker cabinet (or the internal loudspeaker of the HT-5 combo). The outputs marked ‘1×8 Ohm or 2×16 Ohm’ are for the connection of either a single 8 Ohm extension cabinet or two 16 Ohm cabinets. Also, the internal loudspeaker of the HT-5 combo can be plugged in here if it is used with a 16 Ohm extension cabinet

Reverb Control

Reverb Image The HT-5RS’s Reverb control sets the overall level of the reverb effect. With the control fully counter clockwise there will be no reverb. Turning the control clockwise will increase the amount of reverb.
