Fuzzy Friday:The Mouse Lemur!

Happy Fuzzy Friday Everyone!!  Since its a bit late, lets get right to it!!!  Meet the mouse lemur, strange, cute, and curious, all the makings of a perfect Fuzzy Friday Feature:)    According to National Geographic,

“Mouse lemurs have a combined head, body, and tail length of less than 10.6 inches (27 centimeters), according to the National Primate Research Center at the University of Wisconsin.  The smallest mouse lemur, M. berthae, weighs about 1.1 ounces (31 grams). (Read about new mouse lemurs discovered in 2006.)”

and according to the BBC,

“Mouse lemurs, like all the other lemurs, are native to Madagascar. These forest dwelling primates are strictly nocturnal and, due to their diminutive size, can be quite easily missed. In fact new species are continually being discovered.”

Who can explain anything in nature, especially the Mouse Lemur more than National Geographic and the BBC?  Not me.  I did however put together a nice little compilation of their fuzzy fantasticness, ENJOY!!
